AI in Teaching
🚀 Empowering Educators with AI
On January 11, 2025, we successfully hosted our first teacher training session on AI in education at the UNFICYP Conference Room, bringing together 20 passionate educators—10 from Turkish Cypriot schools and 10 from Greek Cypriot schools. This landmark event marked the beginning of our mission to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into modern teaching practices and foster bicommunal collaboration through technology.
💡 What We Covered
During this interactive, hands-on workshop, educators explored:
✅ AI-Powered Lesson Planning – How AI can assist in creating engaging and dynamic lesson plans.
✅ AI Tools for the Classroom – Introduction to ChatGPT, Perplexity AI, Synthesia, Kahoot!, and other tools that enhance learning experiences.
✅ Creating AI-Generated Educational Content – Using AI for developing quizzes, presentations, voiceovers, and even AI-generated videos.
✅ Ethical Use of AI in Education – Understanding the strengths and limitations of AI tools and how to use them responsibly.
Hands-On Experience & Certification

Participants had the chance to test AI tools in real-time, experiment with lesson customization, and develop their own AI-assisted teaching materials. At the end of the training, all attendees received an internationally recognized certification in AI in Education, equipping them with innovative skills to bring back to their classrooms.
